Do I set my own price per minute?

Yes. You set your per-minute rate, and it appears on your profile before the client starts the session.

The platform minimum is $ 1 USD per minute: nobody can charge below that figure.

When setting your price, keep two things in mind:

• You receive 40 % of what the client pays, so work out your real income on that basis.
• The client sees your rate next to your reviews. A high price with few reviews converts worse than a moderate one while you build a reputation.

You can change your rate whenever you want. The change applies to new sessions, not to ones that already happened.
